Les petits Amis Childcare is committed to meeting the needs of each child as well as to adhere to the guidelines and regulations set by the Department of Early Educarion and Care (EEC).

A Word from EEC

EEC is the agency that oversees early education and care, and after school services for families in Massachusetts. As the agency that licenses childcare, EEC has quality standards for all licensed programs to ensure high educational value, as well as health and safety. Having a license means that Les Petits Amis has demonstrated that we meet the standards outlined in the EEC regulations.

About the Founder

Paulette Demosthenes - Fully licensed by the Department of Early Education with Master's degree in Leadership Management.

Paulette (Popo) has worked with children for over 35 years in various roles. She has served as assistant teacher, head teacher, coordinator and director of most prestigious daycares in Massachusetts. She has now been the owner/operator of "Les Petits Amis Childcare" for the last 10 years.

Each team member is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care to care for 10 children . Should you have any further questions, please feel free to stop by or call at any time during the day.

Educational and Philosophic Approach

Les Petits Amis Child Care is committed to meeting the needs of each child as we adhere to the guidelines and regulations set by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). The primary goal of Les Petits Amis Family Care is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can develop a positive self-concept, have an opportunity to interact, play and develop a positive relationship with peers, as well as staff. We want the children to enjoy a positive early education. This program is offered to all children regardless of race, religion, culture, and heritage. Children develop at different rates, thus we tailor our program to nurture and challenge each child to meet his/her individual needs regarding cognitive, social, emotional, physical and moral development. Les Petits Amis follows a developmental approach that respond to the child’s interest and needs as well as fosters growth in all areas, allowing him/her to develop at their own pace. The social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of the children is addressed by providing the child with developmentally appropriate learning experience in language arts, music, fine and gross motor skills, art, science and socialization in small individual settings. It is believed that children learn best through play, and active hands-on experiences. Les Petits Amis welcomes infants at 8 weeks of age to preschool (up to 6 years old)
